Halloween Finger Food


On the Halloween party you can surprise your guests and friends with very delicious and very suitable for the occasion snake bites. It doe not take long time to cook them but in the same time it will be a pleasure for you and your guests to enjoy the taste.

To cook the snake bites you will need 1 can crescent rolls,50 g flour, 3 eggs, liquid food coloring, 30g sliced ham, 30 g bologna, 30 g salami, 40 g Monterey Jack, 4 tablespoons spicy mustard, 2whole cloves, 2 small olives, 1 strip roasted red pepper and toothpicks. Preheat the oven and dust with flour the baking surface, leave it aside. Spread the crescent dough, and make one piece of dough pinch together the seams. To make a big rectangle, roll it out. The dough does not have to stick to the surface. Leave your favorite cold cuts and the meat in the middle of the rectangle, brush to dough with mustard.

If you want you can put some cheese on the meat and then fold the dough. Separately beat one yolk and brush it over the dough. Now you have to fold the dough again in half lengthwise. On one end shape the snake’s tail and on the other side shape the snake’s head. In three separate bowl beat the other eggs, add some food color in each one. Better put different colors and with clean brush color the snake in different shades. Now transfer the snake to the tray and form it into S shape to look like real. Place the two small olives as eyes, two cloves on the head to look like nostrils, with roasted red pepper create the mouth and the tongue. You have to bake it in preheated oven for about 25 minutes or till get golden brown.
