To make your own Halloween play dough you need the following ingredients:Â *food coloring, *1 tablespoon cream of tarter (it helps to stretch the dough better), *2 cups boiling water, *cup salt and *2 cups flour.
First of all you should mix all ingredients. Pour out immediately the flour, salt, oil and cream of tarter into boiling water. Use the plastic or wooden spoon in order to stir all this mixture. Let it cool. Once it is cool roll the mixture by hand in order to get it smooth.
Now it is time to dye your play dough. Your key task is to achieve the spooky colors using food coloring. The colors may vary, it is up to you how many to have and what shades to choose. You can use dark blackish green - the monsters’ color-, green, orange, purple and such. To dark blackish green you should mix the above-mentioned colors together; green color should be added more. Orange is easy to get by mixing yellow and red food coloring. If you decide to paint your play dough in purple use red and blue food coloring.
